Middle extension with traction rear.

The new eLTU70 container chassis can take all sizes of container. In the new version, also for 20' swap and tank containers. In addition, with the various wheel gauges and carrier positions, it is possible to adjust the load distribution on 2 and 3-axle semitrailer tractors. The vehicle stands out with its relatively low dead weight and higher stability.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Position for 20’ flush with the rear

This position ensures improved load distribution and easy loading and unloading of the 20‘ container on the ramp.

Position for 45’

As an option, 45‘ EC containers can be transported with an extended front extension without special permit.

Pre-selectable wheel gauge

The wheel gauge can easily be pre-selected using an engage function. The different container positions are colour coded and are also found at the rear and on the optional front extension.

Reliable pneumatic motor

A low-maintenance pneumatic motor with a high start torque ensures uniform extension of the 2,600 mm long rear extension.

Traction rear

The traction rear improves the fifth-wheel load and therefore the payload for heavy 20‘ containers flush with the rear by approx. 1 t.

Locking mechanisms on front extension

The front container locking mechanisms on the Box Liner eLTU5 Plus can be adjusted for containers with and without tunnel as well as straight or angled corners.

Folding lock mechanisms

The folding lock is simply folded up when transporting 2x 20’ containers. When not being used, it can easily be swivelled back to parking position.

Stainless steel drain pan

A stainless steel drain pan with shut-off valve is available as an option to collect leaks behind the 20' centred tank container.

Optional storage space

The chassis offers storage space in the centre longitudinal beam for carrying two hoses with a length of up to 5 m.
