Smooth front and side walls

Smooth front and side walls are easy to clean and reduce the fuel costs on account of the low air resistance.

Aerodynamic

The aerodynamically-optimised version of the KRONE swap body has up to 7.9 percent less flow resistance in comparison to a normal swap box.

Double-deck option

Loading on a double deck makes sense to allow full utilisation of the container volume. It offers optimum load securing in combination with the keyhole walls.

Various internal cladding systems

Various types of internal cladding are available. This includes, for example, the felt lining for transporting furniture. Alternatively, you can select a plywood panelling.

Trapezoidal sheet design

The robust steel box with trapezoidal sheet side walls is particularly suitable where there is a large proportion of rail transport.

Plywood side walls

The swap box with plywood side walls offers you completely smooth wall surfaces on the inside of the vehicle. Additional fittings, such as scouring strips or strapping rails are mounted on its surface.

Air Cargo Box

The box has five pneumatic roller conveyors that can be raised or lowered separately in two sections. The roller system has a lifting height of approx. 11 mm and is designed for a load capacity of 550 kg per metre. The control device is located on the side of the rear frame.

Cool Box Duoplex Steel

The new Cool Box Duoplex Steel completes KRONE'S range of insulated superstructures. Robust and finesse down to the smallest detail. The superstructure combines the benefits of a swap unit with those of an insulated superstructure. The proven Duoplex Steel Technology is used here. The box has sturdy panels, with continuous steel top layers and a reinforced, foamed base assembly. The interior equipment also offers the right solution for every type of transport required.

Dry Box Duoplex Steel

The Dry Box Duoplex Steel is the swap box for temperature-controlled goods transport. Slightly insulated continuous side walls made of Duoplex steel panels with a panel thickness of only 30 mm. Recessed double-deck guide rails and continuous or split lashing rails facilitate high transport efficiency and the best possible load securing. The 300 mm tall socket scouring strips and the 27 mm thick perforated floor provide stability and high load-bearing strength.
